Student Travel Support

Travel support for a limited number of GRSS members and student members may be available from the IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society. The GRSS travel support application must be submitted online by 15 August 2020. An application form will be provided here at a later date.

What the InGARSS travel grant will cover

• Conference registration fee at your membership grade
• Flight cost to/from nearest airport
• Accommodation/Hotel cost for 5 days

Reasonable estimate as determined by the GRSS Travel Grant Committee.

To apply for an InGARSS travel grant

You must:

• be an IEEE and GRSS member
• be a first author or presenting author on at least 1 accepted abstract
• have not received funding within the last 2 years

You can increase your chances to receive an InGARSS travel grant if you bring in co-funding from your institution or other external sources.
